ABOUT THE ALBUM
Reserve de Marche is a three-piece Russian band from Moscow, and their new album "Inside the Drama" was released earlier this year. The album is a dynamic work with seven tracks and a 42 minutes of runtime. As the band puts it, the album concept tells mythological stories that are played by ancient gods and people in the modern world. “Inside the Drama” is dense with emotions and has a very organic, vivid taste to it, something that cannot be easily achieved by individual members but rather as the whole band.

The band has proven that they can produce works full of energy, hence one can claim that they are using their instruments quite effectively, as there aren’t many of them. In particular this album can get really mellow at certain points, as well as aggressive and energetic. The opening track Althaea Lights a Fire is a great introduction to the album as it begins with a guitar riff followed by other instruments, taking the listener into the album gradually. The powerful drum beats give a certain dose of energy and fills the head. It is one of those moments where you can’t help but to tap your fingers or silently nod with your head according to the rhythm.
